All About Us

Heads of Ayr Nursery is a private day nursery brought to you by the award winning team from Heads of Ayr Farm Park, and we first opened our doors in March 2021. With acres of space for indoor and outdoor play, plenty of animal interaction, and a stunning rural location overlooking the coast, we aim to provide a truly unique, educational and fun learning experience for children.

Our nursery showcases all that’s best about our local countryside and offers plenty of nurturing outdoor learning opportunities, alongside the highest standard of indoor facilities.

Unique to us is our partnership with Heads of Ayr Farm Park which gives the children regular access to their parks and play equipment, but also some amazing animal interactions with a huge variety of farm, domestic and exotic creatures, some of which are even rare and endangered species.​

The nursery itself was planned and built with the interests of the children at heart. It features a large freeflow outdoor space with tunnels, treehouses, sandpits, and much more. The nursery has space for 57 children ages 2-5 years old, with a vision to increase this in the near future. We operate with two playrooms; the Sunshine Room for ages 2-3, and the Rainbow Room for ages 3-5. With our loving staff and our high standard of facilities, we endeavour for our nursery to feel like a home away from home for our children.
